Broad Reach Healthcare is currently seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to join our team.
This is a full-time position.
In this role, you will receive a $12,000 SIGN-ON BONUS.
Responsibilities
- Oversee direct nursing care to patients on your 38 bed half‑long term care, half sub‑acute unit.
- Supervise day to day activities of Nurses and CNAs, planning and delegating assignments to unit nursing staff.
- Communicate clearly with all staff to assure continuity of care, updating nursing team and families with changes in patient condition.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Collaborate in planning, teaching and evaluating staff development programs for the unit.
- Make daily rounds on unit to evaluate patient status and staff performance.
Requirements
- LPN Nursing Certificate or RN Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Long term care experience preferred.
- Active license to practice as a Nurse in Massachusetts.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Good communication and people skills.
The pay range for this position is between $48 to $60 per hour , based on years of experience and licensure.
