To support a growing telehealth practice, the part-time to full-time Newfoundland and Labrador Nurse Practitioner will provide patient assessments and care through virtual consultations, collaborating with healthcare professionals while managing treatment plans and follow-up care. Key responsibilities Assessing client presentations and determining the urgency of care needed while facilitating referrals as appropriate Independently diagnosing conditions, prescribing medications, and coordinating treatment plans based on assessments and client responses Communicating findings and treatment options to clients and collaborating with inter-professional teams to ensure comprehensive care Required qualifications Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner program Current or willingness to obtain licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador Preferred 1 year of recent experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner, with consideration for previous clinical experience Family All Ages (FAA) certification is required Strong computer and technology skills for delivering virtual care
