Nurse Practitioner, Vascular Neurology/Stroke Program - Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Responsible for working alongside physicians and facilitating advanced primary and specialty nursing services. Provides general and preventative care for children and adults, perform check-ups, treat illnesses, order lab tests, and prescribe medication.

Principal Accountabilities:

• 1. Provides new patient consultation and reviews health history.
• 2. Performs physical examinations and screening on the patients.
• 3. Provides after-care/ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families.
• 4. Ensures patient records are maintained including test results, immunizations, condition changes.
• 5. Delivers quality, physician-level care while complying with company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics.
• 6. Recommends further treatment options or future appointments if required.
• 7. Performs diagnoses health problems and provides medications.
• 8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
