Job Description
UM Upper Chesapeake Health (UMUCH), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has a full-time employed position available for a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join their practice located in Forest Hill, MD.
Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities
- Coordinating and providing medical care, health screening, and education to Harford Primary Care’s adult patients.
- Performing traditional outpatient duties.
- Working in a physician and APP friendly, collaborative environment.
- Monday through Friday work schedule, no weekends or holidays; work‑life balance supported by a manageable shared call rotation.
Ideal candidate will have prior experience in a primary care setting.

Work Experience
Experience in primary care nursing, including adult, geriatric, or family nurse practitioner roles.
Education & Training
Current Maryland Nurse Practitioner license as an adult, geriatric, or family nurse practitioner.
Work Orientation & Experience
Satisfactory completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and a practitioner‑physician written agreement approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
Skills & Abilities
Competent in providing comprehensive physical assessments and establishing medical diagnoses for common short‑term or chronic stable health problems; ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment; possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
