Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Psych Med

Eventus WholeHealth delivers an integrated model of care to adults residing in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities through a network of healthcare providers including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants, and in-house Support Staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide mental health services in accordance with Eventus WholeHealth site-specific protocols and the standard of care for family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine related to long-term care facilities.

Quality/Compliance

• Deliver high-quality clinical care addressing various adult psychopathologies
• Operate independently while collaborating with a psychiatric team of MDs, PMHNPs, NPs, and PAs
• Receive supervision from a psychiatrist focused on mentorship, with opportunities for customized training
• Participate in educational activities such as monthly case conferences, journal reviews, and team meetings
• Collaborate with primary care providers and psychotherapists; all patients will have access to weekly psychotherapy sessions
• Work alongside a medical assistant partner to support scheduling, charting, and administrative tasks
• Utilize an integrated EHR system across services

Qualifications/Education:

• Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and a valid state license to practice medicine; current certifications required
• OR
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Passed the national certification exam by the NCCPA
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in your state
• Geriatric, family, or psychiatric specialization preferred
