Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Psych Med

Eventus WholeHealth delivers an integrated model of care to adults residing in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities through a network of healthcare providers including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants, and in-house Support Staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Provide mental health services in accordance with Eventus WholeHealth site-specific protocols and the standard of care for family medicine, geriatric medicine, and internal medicine related to long-term care facilities.

Quality / Compliance

• Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients with various adult psychopathologies.
• Maintain independence in practice while collaborating with a team of MDs, PMHNPs, NPs, and PAs.
• Receive supervision from a psychiatrist dedicated to mentoring, providing customized training alongside other lead providers.
• Participate in educational activities such as monthly case conferences, journal reviews, and meetings.
• Collaborate with primary care providers and psychotherapists; patients will have access to weekly psychotherapy sessions.
• Work as part of a service team with a medical assistant partner to assist with scheduling, charting, and administrative duties.
• Utilize an integrated EHR system across all service lines.

Qualifications / Education :

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and a valid state license to practice medicine. All necessary certifications must be current.
• Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant educational program.
• Passed the national certification exam from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in your state.
• Geriatric, family, or psychiatric specialization is preferred.
