Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) for a great opportunity in northern New Jersey. The role joins the Cardiac Rescue and Recovery program at Morristown Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP interested in working for a supportive and growing practice with a robust staff.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients, formulate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans.
• Perform technical, clinical, and critical procedures.
• Document patient progress; manage central lines and arterial lines/central line placement; and oversee the management of mechanical cardiovascular support as required.
• Provide initial patient consultation and assessment, ongoing care throughout the patient’s stay in critical care, and post-cardiac arrest management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner program or related field.
