This is a part‑time role of either two or three 8‑hour shifts per week. Mondays are required and there is flexibility across Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays for the remaining shift(s).
We’re looking to connect with Nurse Practitioners passionate about women’s health for coverage across Tia’s LA Clinics (Pasadena, Silver Lake, Studio City, West Hollywood, Culver City and Playa Vista) . As a Nurse Practitioner – Float, you will be an integral part of the care delivery system. Your clinical expertise related to the full spectrum of providing affirming primary care for women includes:
- gynecological services
- primary care
- procedures
- holistic whole‑person care
When not in patient visits, Floats may also be assigned activities including but not limited to the following: provider inbox support, RN team support, clinical content creation and review, and clinical mentorship. You will provide coverage and support across multiple Tia clinics within the Los Angeles market. This role ensures consistent patient care, workflow execution, and coverage across sites during staffing gaps, high‑volume periods, training, PTO or emergent needs.
The Nurse Practitioner – Float functions with high autonomy, strong clinical competency, and adaptability. They are expected to quickly integrate into each clinic’s daily flow and uphold Tia’s standardized workflows.

Skills and assets you’ll bring to Tia:
- You’re a board certified Nurse Practitioner in the state of California, with an unrestricted license, able to provide primary and gynecology care and support of all aspects of women’s health with compassion and empathy.
- You’re adept at providing primary care services including: annual exams and pap smears, hypertension management, diabetes management, anxiety and depression management, urgent care concerns (coughs, sore throat, abdominal pain, etc), basic dermatological condition management, STD screens, procedural skills to perform IUD insertions, UTI & vaginal infections consults, etc.
- You’re highly tech savvy.
- You’re willing to work some (but not all) evenings + weekends as needed by schedule.
- You’re authorized to work in the US.
Other nice to have skills:
- You have procedural skills to perform: nexplanon insertion and colposcopies or a desire to learn.

- Experience or formal training weaving integrative medicine practices into your care plan development.

- Competitive salary of $79,872 – $119,808 (range is across 2 – 3 shifts per week). Full time Float salary equivalent is $199,680. Additionally, full‑time clinicians are eligible to participate in a quarterly bonus program.
- Paid vacation time, paid sick leave, reimbursement of Continuing Medical Education for those who work three shifts / week. Paid sick leave (only) for those who work two shifts / week.
- Mileage reimbursement to and from your clinic assignments.
- Medical malpractice coverage.
- Reimbursed for state licenses, board certification, and BLS certification.
- DEA will be reimbursed where it is required for practice.
- Complimentary subscriptions to educational tools such as UptoDate along with extensive internal educational resources and monthly clinical training opportunities.
- Access to AI documentation software drastically reducing administrative burden of clinical documentation.
