Job Opportunity
A well-established and growing physician-owned primary care practice is seeking a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP-C) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join its clinical team in Leon Valley, TX.
The practice emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered care and values building long-term relationships with patients while allowing providers adequate time per visit.
Experience is preferred; however, all qualified candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient primary care setting
- Perform medical evaluations, examinations, and assessments
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans within scope of practice
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and clinical staff
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health records (EHR)
Education & Qualifications
- Board Certified FNP-C / FNP-BC or PA-C
- Active and unrestricted Texas state license
- Active DEA license
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR medical charting systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and flexible
