Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and document detailed patient medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work and imaging.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications.
• Perform procedures such as suturing and administering injections.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and lifestyle management.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic health record systems (ECW preferred).

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Virginia.
• Master’s degree from an accredited PA or NP program.
• Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation.
• Prior experience in pediatrics or pediatric urgent care is REQUIRED.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems (ECW preferred).
• PALS certification (Required).
• Spanish proficiency preferred to serve diverse patient populations.

• Job Title: Pediatric Primary and Urgent Care Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner
• Location: Falls Church, VA 22042.
• Expected Hours: 10-20 hours per week.
• Schedule: Flexible shifts, including rotating weekends (10-hour or 5-hour shifts), evenings, and weekends.
• Full-time/Part-time: Flexible engagement.
