Corewell Health in Southwest Michigan is searching for a dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their busy new Primary Care clinic located in the Patient Care Center at Royalton.

Compensation package includes a two-year salary guarantee with the opportunity to bonus based on productivity.
Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. No weekends.
We are excited to offer Abridge , a generative AI platform for clinical conversations, which allows you to focus on your patients and improve efficiency. Corewell Health utilizes EPIC as our EHR. We also provide Inboxologist services at each of our Primary Care Clinics.
Essential Functions
- Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others.
- Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times.
- Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they related to medical practice and quality patient care.
- Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients.
- Evaluates patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develops and implements appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources.
- Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards.
- Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate.
- Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities.
- Actively works with Corewell Health to meet financial and patient satisfaction goals.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree MSN-Nurse Practitioner. Required
- Preferred Doctorate
- 1 year of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience as nurse practitioner Preferred
- LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire Required, or
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies Required
- 1 year of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience as physician assistant Preferred
- LIC-Physician Assistant (PA) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire Required
- LIC-Controlled Substance - STATE_MI State of Michigan - Upon Hire Required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association . 90 Days Required
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire Preferred
