A private pediatric practice is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner / PNP or Family Nurse Practitioner / FNP to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced pediatric urgent care setting in Spokane, Washington! Nurse Practitioner will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering timely, evidence-based care to children and young adults while working within a supportive and collaborative clinical team.

  • $70-$80/hr, depending on experience, with production bonus opportunities

Role

Part-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner role in an urgent care setting

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute pediatric conditions including infections, minor injuries, and common childhood illnesses
  • Perform advanced physical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate treatments
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding acute and chronic health concernsCollaborate with physicians and care team members for referrals and continuity of care
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system

Qualifications

  • Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • 1–2 years of pediatric experience preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced urgent care environment
