Nurse Practitioner, PD, Cardiac Access Unit - Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Overview

Atlantic Health is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner to join the Cardiac Access Unit at Morristown Medical Center. The 28-bed unit is located in the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute and focuses on care for patients who will undergo surgeries or cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a robust Heart Care team to manage, supervise, and support patients in the Cardiac Access, Cardiac Extended, and Cardiac Observation units.
• Provide clinical expertise and care in a fast-paced hospital setting, including stress testing environment as applicable.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program
• NP or PA Certification and NJ License
• DEA and CDS registration
• ACLS and BLS required
• Minimum of 2–3 years of Critical Care or Cardiology experience
• Excellent communication and computer skills; strong work ethic and ability to work both as part of a team and independently
