Role Overview
Job Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Location: Lubbock, TX (Covenant Medical Center, On-site)
Schedule: Full-Time, Variable Shift; 12-hour shifts.
Provides Surgery‑Trauma care to patients, acting as an assistant to physicians in the hospital following established standards and practices with minimal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program or approved Physician Assistant program.
- Texas Registered Nurse license and Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse recognition through Texas Board of Nursing or Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Designation or current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- 3 years professional nursing experience in a clinic setting or 3 years professional physician assistant experience in a clinic setting.
