Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Per Diem

Work Locations and Hours:

Waupaca Foundry: N2610 WI-22, Waupaca, WI 54981

Hours: Mon‑Thu 7am‑6pm, Fri 7am‑3pm

Marinette Foundry: 3900 Hall Ave, Marinette, WI 54143

Hours: Mon‑Tues and Thurs‑Fri 7am‑5pm

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high‑quality Primary Care services including:
  • Wellness and Preventative Physical Exams
  • Acute care of minor illness and injuries
  • Chronic Disease Management and Longitudinal care
  • Minor procedures (suturing, splinting, incision/drainage, etc.)
  • Lifestyle and well‑being counseling
  • Medical management of behavioral health conditions

Required Qualifications:

• One of the following licensures with Full Practice Authority (FPA):
  • Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC/AANP
  • Certified Physician Assistant through the NCCPA
• Active DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration
• Current CPR certification
• 2+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, ambulatory, emergency, and/or urgent care settings
• Experience using computers for professional communication
• Experience using Electronic Health Record systems for medical documentation
• Experience seeing patients of all ages, including children and adolescents
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between Waupaca and Marinette as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Athena EMR for medical documentation
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a clinical setting

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation typically ranges from $52.64 to $78.85 per hour. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and may increase over time based on productivity and performance. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
