Job Description
- First assist orthopedic surgeons in the operating room.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat orthopedic injuries and conditions in the clinic.
- Provide patient care in our Orthopedic Urgent Care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and other appropriate tests.
- Perform office-based procedures as appropriate.
- Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, recovery, and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and clinical staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Minimum Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented orthopedic practice.
- Previous orthopedic, sports medicine, emergency medicine, or surgical experience is preferred but not required.
