Nurse Practitioner

Location: Hagerstown, MD – occupational health clinic within an automotive facility.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Duration: 7/24/2024 – 9/4/2024 (possible extension or direct placement).

Pay: $65–78 / hour, DOE.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of the Physician.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.
• Record physical findings and formulate a plan and prognosis based on the patient’s condition; provide written home‑going instructions.
• Collaborate with Physicians and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans as necessary.
• Prescribe or recommend medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
• Refer patients to Physicians for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
• Maintain medical records, using Electronic Medical Record software when required.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• All NP licenses and education required to practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Occupational Health experience preferred; related experience acceptable.
• DOT certification a plus.

Employment Details: Representative will provide snapshot of compensation and benefits. Actual pay is determined by experience, technical expertise, and qualifications.
