Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized healthcare plans
• Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic healthcare challenges, working collaboratively with physicians or independently as authorized
• Providing education to patients and their families on prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in compliance with your practice regulations
• Engaging in chronic care management and patient follow-ups
• Cooperating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and effective care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education and Certifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Certification from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Credentials

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to obtain within 90 days
