Your Responsibilities Include:

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, requesting necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or emergency conditions in collaboration with physician partners, or independently as permitted
• Providing patient and family education on health promotion, prevention strategies, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within the approved scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic condition management
• Working in conjunction with interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated, comprehensive care
• Accurately and comprehensively documenting patient interactions within electronic health record systems (EHR)

What You Need to Qualify

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner education program

Certifications Needed

• A valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Nebraska
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to obtain within 90 days)
