Your Responsibilities

• Carrying out comprehensive patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, collaborating with physicians when necessary (based on credentialing)
• Instructing patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and management of diseases
• Prescribing medications and treatment modalities in accordance with your scope of practice

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Tennessee
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a relevant specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
