Your Role in this Journey

• Performing detailed patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized healthcare plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, and chronic health conditions, either independently or alongside physicians (depending on your credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and families about prevention, general health, and effective disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments that align with your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-ups and managing chronic care effectively
• Working collaboratively across various teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Diligently documenting patient interactions and care within our electronic medical records (EMR)

What You Will Need for This Role

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire these within 90 days)
