What You'll Be Doing

• Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary tests, and designing personalized treatment plans
• Making diagnoses and managing acute or chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently based on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and families about prevention strategies, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within the defined scope of practice
• Engaging in ongoing patient follow-up and management of chronic conditions
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive and efficient patient care
• Maintaining precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Indiana
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
