Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, initiate diagnostic tests, and develop personalized care strategies
• Diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions, working collaboratively with physicians or independently based on your credentials
• Provide education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and management of diseases
• Prescribe treatments and medications, observing your scope of practice
• Engage in patient follow-ups and manage chronic care effectively
• Work alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centric care
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMR)

Required Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Required Credentials

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire these within 90 days)
