Your Role

• Executing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies.
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses either independently or in collaboration with physicians (dependent on credentialing).
• Informing patients and their families about prevention, health optimization, and chronic disease management.
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions in accordance with your scope of practice.
• Engaging in patient follow-ups to support chronic care management.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas.
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a relevant specialty equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to attain within 90 days).
