Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues, either independently or in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Providing education to patients and their families regarding wellness, prevention, and disease management
- Prescribing necessary medications and treatments within the scope of your practice
- Engaging in follow-up care and supporting chronic disease management initiatives
- Working closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
- Accurately documenting patient interactions and care plans within electronic health record systems
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Successful completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Washington State
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to secure them within 90 days)
