Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing in-depth patient evaluations, requesting necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized treatment plans
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, and chronic conditions, in collaboration with physicians or independently depending on your credentials
• Educating patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and chronic care
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your scope of practice
• Taking part in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic disease management
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Accurately documenting all patient interactions and treatment within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Recognized Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or in a related specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
