Your Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering the necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or ongoing medical conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently as your credentials allow
• Providing education to patients and their families on health maintenance, preventive care, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments within the framework of your practice
• Ensuring consistent patient follow-ups and supporting chronic care initiatives
• Working with interdisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive and comprehensive care

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or eligibility to obtain within 90 days)
