To support a growing virtual urgent care practice, the part-time to full-time Nurse Practitioner - Newfoundland Licensed will assess and diagnose patients using telephone and video technology, prescribe medications, and coordinate treatment plans while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Assess client presentations and determine the urgency of care needed, facilitating referrals as appropriate Independently diagnose and prescribe treatments in accordance with professional standards and clinical guidelines Communicate findings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Required qualifications: Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner program Current or willingness to obtain licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador Preferred 1 year of recent experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner Family All Ages (FAA) certification is required Strong computer and technology skills to deliver virtual care effectively
