Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Manage acute and chronic conditions in hospital and outpatient settings
- Perform admissions, discharges, rounding, and follow-up care as applicable
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with New York State regulations
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on care plans and preventive health
- Document care accurately in EMR systems and maintain regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
- National NP certification in applicable specialty
- Minimum 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience required
- Hospital or acute care experience required for inpatient roles
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and communication skills
