Nurse Practitioner – Full-Spectrum Primary Care (2-Day Workweek – $60–$70/hr)

A physician-owned primary care clinic in Cumming, Georgia is adding a part-time FNP to work directly alongside the owner in a full-spectrum family medicine practice spanning age 5 through geriatrics. No corporate layers, no narrow scope, no in-person call. Mondays and Tuesdays plus alternating Saturdays. Phone-only call rotation. CME allowance and dedicated CME days included. 1099 structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary care across the lifespan from pediatric through geriatric patients (age 5 and up)
• Diagnose and manage acute presentations and chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and thyroid disease
• Perform well visits, preventive screenings, and health maintenance
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and imaging; coordinate specialty referrals
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• Document encounters accurately in eClinicalWorks
• Collaborate with physician owner on complex or ambiguous presentations
• Participate in shared phone call rotation

Qualifications

• Active Georgia APRN license and FNP board certification required
• 1–2 years of NP experience preferred; RN experience considered case by case
• New FNP graduates with prior primary care or med-surg experience considered case by case
• Comfortable caring for patients across the full age range including children age 5 and up
• eClinicalWorks experience preferred; willingness to learn accepted
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach in a small practice setting

Schedule & Compensation

• $60–$70/hour | 1099 independent contractor
• Part-time | Mondays and Tuesdays plus alternating Saturdays
• Phone-only call; no in-person call responsibility
• CME allowance and dedicated CME days
