Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Dermatology

Job Summary:
nWe are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing dermatology team in Fresno, CA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with various skin conditions. The role requires a strong foundation in dermatological practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
n- Conduct thorough dermatological assessments and evaluations, including history taking and physical examinations.
n- Diagnose and manage a wide range of skin conditions, including but not limited to acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, and skin cancers.
n- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending therapies.
n- Perform minor dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic treatments (e.g., Botox, fillers).
n- Provide patient education on skin care practices, preventive measures, and treatment options.
n- Collaborate with dermatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
n- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
n- Stay current with advancements in dermatology and participate in relevant continuous education and training opportunities.
n- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction surveys, and departmental meetings.
Qualifications:
n- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited NP program.
n- Current Nurse Practitioner license in California (or eligible).
n- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) preferred; Dermatology certification desirable.
n- Previous experience in dermatology or a similar clinical setting is highly desirable.
n- Proficient in dermatological assessment, diagnostic procedures, and treatment modalities.
n- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
n- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
n- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
