Description:Seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery PA with experience to start as soon as credentialed.Coverage is ongoing until a permanent provider is hired.Schedule includes nights and weekends, with possible weekday call coverage required.Provider will be responsible for patient care in an inpatient setting.Duties include pre-operative physical exams, suture removal, and diagnosing and treating illnesses.Provider will be required to order and interpret tests, assist in surgery, and write prescriptions.Coordination of care and rounding on patients will also be required.The provider will need to perform chest tube insertions and endoscopic retrieval procedures.Temp privileges will be available.Clean background and board certification are required.
