Role Overview
Schedule: 5 days a week Monday to Friday. Start with 10 patients per day and grow to 15 patients per day. Provide patient care in skilled nursing facilities by conducting rounds in short‑term units and complete documentation on a provided iPad laptop within 48 hours of each visit. Commute to facilities within a half‑hour of Roanoke.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Collaborate with facility staff to enhance patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health diagnoses.
- Prescribe and manage medications.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Hold a valid full PMHNP license.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Active VA license; DEA preferred but not required.
- Experience in healthcare or long‑term care is preferred.
Compensation: Estimated range $100,000 to $140,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.
