Nurse Practitioner - Behavioral Health

Role Overview

Schedule: 2 days a week, Monday to Friday

Provide patient care in a skilled nursing facility by conducting rounds in their short-term units.

Conduct documentation at home with provided iPad laptop within 48 hours of seeing patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Collaborate with facility staff to enhance patient care.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with a mental health diagnosis.
• Prescribe and manage medications.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Hold a valid full PMHNP license.
• Active TX license.
• Active DEA preferred but not required.
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred but not required.

Compensation

Compensation is fee for service (FFS). Expected compensation is estimated range of $53,752 - $64,503 annually with no cap productivity income potential.
