The Section of Internal Medicine is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Adult Primary Care Practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated provider who is passionate about delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care to a diverse and multicultural patient population.

Position Highlights

• Full‑time opportunity
• In‑person, patient‑facing role Monday through Friday
• One evening clinic per week
• Two Saturday clinics per year required
• Opportunity to care for a diverse, multilingual patient population
• Faculty appointment with Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Conduct routine wellness visits and same‑day sick visits
• Provide preventive care and chronic disease management
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing
• Develop evidence‑based treatment plans
• Coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
• Collaborate within a team‑based, patient‑centered medical home model

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts
• Minimum of 3–5 years of post‑licensure clinical experience required
• Prior Primary Care experience strongly preferred
• Experience caring for culturally diverse and underserved populations preferred
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills
• New graduates will not be considered

Compensation Range: $53.85 – $78.13 per hour, based on minimum job qualifications. The base pay considers education, experience, skills, and certifications, as well as internal equity and market competitiveness.
