Salary Range : $100,000 to $114,500 Annually

Job Type : Full-time

Shift : Monday - Friday | Days

Summary

As a Nurse Manager, you will plan, coordinate and supervise the delivery of nursing care within a substance abuse treatment facility at Woodridge Interventions. This role requires excellent leadership, critical thinking, mentoring and inspiring skills in healthcare.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serves as a resource on healthcare treatment issues and provides guidance.
  • Supervises the medical department to ensure high quality patient care which includes scheduling and training assigned employees, evaluating performance, developing action plans, and implementing corrective action as required.
  • Monitors personnel submission of monthly reports for timeliness and accuracy and implements policy and procedures to ensure a productive work environment with accountability mechanisms.
  • Monitors risk management activities for the facility and ensures JCAHO accreditation and regulatory standards are maintained.
  • Monitors the functioning of the medical department’s activities to ensure efficient health promotion procedures and practices.
  • Utilizes appropriate clinical and managerial skills to enhance client care, contract compliance, and fiscal expectations.
  • Adheres to regulations surrounding confidentiality, treatment expectations, and program development.
  • Identifies potential conflicts or problems and implements crisis intervention techniques to prevent or intervene in crisis situations.
  • Works sufficient hours to ensure effective performance which includes being on 24‑hour call to handle emergency situations and coordinate response.
  • Serves as the infection control officer for the facility, monitoring infection control activities and reporting findings to the Medical Director.
  • Communicates and collaborates with administration, finance, human resources, information services and other departments to ensure the availability, accuracy and effectiveness of healthcare service delivery.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current licensure as Registered Nurse in the state where this position is located.
  • Three (3) years of nursing experience, including at least one (1) year as a nurse manager or director; experience with at‑risk population preferred.
  • Experience managing multi‑disciplinary clinical programs and delivery of services in a multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge of accreditation bodies such as JCAHO.
  • Clear, articulate communication skills; ability to ask clarifying questions.
  • Ability to complete assignments accurately and within deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and in group settings; willingness to lead others.
  • Working knowledge of software applications used by the supported group.
  • Other qualifications: at least twenty‑one (21) years of age, criminal clearances (state & child, FBI), must pass federal and state background checks screening for various crimes.
