The Nurse Manager for the PACU at Massachusetts General Hospital will lead and support clinical operations in a dynamic environment dedicated to the care of adult and pediatric patients before and after surgery. This full‑time evening position is ideal for a highly motivated nursing professional.

What You'll Do
- Direct, plan, and coordinate service activities and staffing performance.
- Ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of staff onboarding, training, and education.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback for staff.
- Ensure a positive work environment that is safe for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Coordinate unit activities with other hospital departments.
- Develop and implement staffing plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Master's Degree in Nursing preferred
Experience
- 2-3 years of nursing experience required
- 1-2 years of nursing leadership experience preferred
Licences & Certifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in MA required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
