Responsibilities:
- Assist the DON in overseeing nursing activities and quality of services.
- Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct training and orientation for new employees.
- Review and update policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
- Act as a working RN, personally providing nursing care to ensure quality and proper documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current unencumbered nursing license in the state.
- CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
- Experience in psychiatric healthcare, with a preference for chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
- Leadership experience preferred.
