POSITIONSUMMARY

Managing a busy Geriatric Mental Health Unit is so rewarding. As the nursing leader within a strong clinicalteam, you support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of your team.

Educationand Experience

Education: Must possess, as aminimum, a State of Maine Nursing license

Experience: Demonstrated knowledge and experience sufficient to perform allduties with excellence

Skillsand Abilities

• Knowledge and use of ElectronicMedical Records and/or solid computer skills
• Strong communication skills,both in writing and verbally
• Effective leadership skillsand/or ability to invest in growing this skill
• Read, write, speak, andunderstand the English language.

Certificatesand Licenses

• Possess a diploma, AS or BSdegree in nursing.
• Must be currentlyregistered/licensed in Maine.
• Must have CPR certificationupon hire or obtained during orientation. CPR certification must remaincurrent during employment.
