Position Summary
Provide assistance to the director in the management of the daily operations of the Emergency Department.
Primary Position Responsibilities
- Oversight and responsibility for staffing and operations
- Human Resources Resource Management
- Regulatory Compliance/TJC/ EMTALA

Qualifications
Minimum Education:- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Required: 2-3 years previous Emergency Department experience
- Preferred: Minimum of 2-3 years leadership experience.
- Required: Current NJ RN License, CPR, ACLS, PALS, IV Certified
- Preferred: CEN. Must obtain CEN within 3-5 years of hire.
Knowledge, Skills And/or Abilities
Required: Systems thinker, role model, and coach.Preferred: Excellent communication and IPR skills. Must be able to function in a shared governance environment. Working knowledge of JCAHO, DOH, OSHA AND EMTALA.
