Job Summary

Cardiac Services Manager – responsible for day‑to‑day management of Cath Lab, Echo, Vascular, Telemetry, and Cardiographics service lines at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Works under the Administrative Director of Cardiology Services to direct and evaluate all clinical activities, ensuring optimum patient care using the nursing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of the service lines listed above.
• Direct and evaluate all clinical activities in coordination with the Administrative Director.
• Apply the nursing process to assess, identify needs, plan, implement interventions, and document and evaluate outcomes.
• Provide clinical leadership and data‑driven decision making to improve quality and safety.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Manage resources effectively, including staffing and equipment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (LIC) in Tennessee or equivalent licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
