Registered Nurse Position
The Mississippi Board of Nursing is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Advanced Practice Department. This position assists with licensure, credentialing, customer inquiries, committee support, and special projects. The Nurse III uses nursing knowledge, sound judgment, and established policies and procedures to help support advanced practice nursing regulation in Mississippi.
To be successful in this role, the candidate should be a licensed Registered Nurse who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with policies, procedures, and customers. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, good judgment, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a willingness to learn regulatory processes related to advanced practice nursing. This position also requires professionalism, confidentiality, teamwork, and a commitment to supporting the mission of the Mississippi Board of Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications: Typically requires state licensure as a Registered Nurse and 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
