Summary

Join our team as a Registered Nurse and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing cancer and cancer‑related health challenges. In this role, you’ll provide expert patient care, health teaching, and counseling while delivering interventions that restore and support well‑being. You’ll work collaboratively with physicians and licensed providers to carry out medical regimens and lead a dedicated care team of nurses and clinical support staff. Beyond daily patient care, you’ll also take part in professional development opportunities through workshops, in‑service training, and ongoing education. Qualifications

Required:

• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and:
  • one (1) year of full‑time oncology nursing experience; or
  • one (1) year of full‑time critical care experience; or
  • two (2) years of full‑time medical‑surgical experience in an acute care setting; or
  • one (1) year of full‑time medical‑surgical experience in an acute care setting and completion of Roswell Park nursing orientation with the ability to function independently at a satisfactory level for three (3) months (full‑time) as a Nurse I at Roswell Park.

Note: Incumbents will serve a one (1) year full‑time probationary period as a Nurse II.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of one (1) year critical care and perioperative experience.
