As a Nurse Extern in the Cardiac Medical ICU at HealthONE, you will support RNs in delivering high-acuity patient care using advanced monitoring and life-support technology. Under direct supervision, you’ll assist with assessments, vital signs, hygiene, specimen collection, EKGs, and basic procedures while reinforcing clinical skills learned in nursing school. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team focused on evidence-based cardiac and critical care, patient and family education, and safety practices.
