This Regional Float position will support our Emergency departments. It allows us to expedite our responsiveness to facilities with the greatest staffing needs by deploying qualified clinicians who know our policies, procedures, and core values. We are offering up to a $10,000 Sign‑on Bonus and up to $10,000 in Educational Assistance (loan repayment) to new hires who meet the requirements.
The Registered Nurse (RN), within their scope of practice, is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to a designated group of healthcare consumers across the continuum. The role encompasses the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of care for the sick, disease prevention, and health conservation. It contributes to the mission and core values of CHI Health and floats to different campuses as needed.
- Follow the nursing process which includes assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
- Assessment—demonstrate a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze healthcare consumer data such as psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
- Administer medications accurately and safely.
- Execute accurate and thorough documentation for all patients treated.
- Keep up with Physician orders.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an RN nursing program.
- Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
- BLS: Basic Life Support required upon hire.
- NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required upon hire.
- Other credentials may be needed based on the level of care the RN floats to.
- Ability to travel to multiple metro facilities as needed on short notice.
- At least two years of recent experience managing high‑risk pregnant patients antepartum, throughout labor and delivery, and postpartum, including assessing and caring for infants immediately post‑delivery and throughout the postpartum stay. Experience managing patients with diabetes, preeclampsia, and/or pre‑term labor is required.

Pay Range
$36.00 - $52.20 /hour
