We are seeking a Registered Nurse Educator to develop and deliver educational programs for nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Facilitating onboarding, orientation, competencies, and ongoing training.
- Promoting best practices in infection prevention, safety, emergency preparedness, resident care, and compliance.
- Monitoring staff performance, providing coaching, mentoring, and educational support to enhance clinical outcomes.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining training records.
- Collaborating with leadership to assess educational needs and implement training solutions.
- Reviewing incidents and supporting workplace safety and injury prevention.
- Supporting employee health initiatives within scope of practice.
- Staying current with healthcare regulations, evidence-based practices, and industry standards.
Qualifications Include
- Active RN license in the state.
- At least three years of experience in nursing education, staff development, or clinical training in long-term or post-acute care.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality assurance processes.
- CPR certification; instructor certification is a plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, coaching, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment.
- Commitment to staff development, quality resident care, and compliance.
