Position Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - School Nurse (Therapeutic Day School Program)
Setting: A highly specialized, therapeutic school environment designed for students with behavioral, emotional, and neurodevelopmental needs.
Seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our School Nurse in a full-time, neurodivergent-affirming special education placement rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and trauma-informed care. We serve students elementary age through transition age who require behavioral and emotional support; some of whom also present with complex medical needs.

Required Educational & Licensing Credentials:
- Valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification (BLS/Healthcare Provider level).
- Experience in school nursing and or behavioral health
- Experience managing individualized health care plans and complex medical needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis-response skills
