Position Title : Nurse Abstractor

Position Summary:
Accurately and efficiently conduct electronic medical record abstraction services.
Accurately abstract information from the electronic medical record into the electronic data capture tool.
Background & Context:
Required: oncology RN experience and chart abstraction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately and efficiently conduct electronic medical record abstraction services.
* Accurately abstract information from the electronic medical record into the electronic data capture tool.
* Complete quality, and accuracy testing as requested in a timely manner.
* Abide by all HIPAA and associated patient confidentiality requirements.
Qualification & Experience:
* Must have Oncology RN experience.
* Must have Electronic Medical Chart abstraction experience.
* Must be proficient in navigating through EHR databases.
* Clinical experience/pharmaceutical experience; prefer experience in performing chart abstractions in an oncology setting, academic or research experience helpful.
* Previous data analysis experience is a plus.
* Excellent verbal and written skills.
* Detail oriented.
* Team work oriented.
* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
* Excellent computer skills including: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
* Must have high speed internet access.
* Know how to utilize Teams.
* Active RN License.
* OCN- preferred.
