Overview
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day-shift travel assignment in a high-volume diagnostic imaging environment. This role is ideal for a confident nuclear medicine tech who enjoys working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, collaborating with radiology team members, and delivering accurate, high-quality diagnostic studies.

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,970 - $2,110
• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Setting: Nuclear medicine imaging department

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nuclear medicine technologist experience required
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Siemens equipment strongly preferred
• PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging experience required
• Epic experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of radioactive material handling, IV starts, and isolation precautions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department with approximately 10 visits per day

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging studies with accuracy and professionalism
• Prepare, administer, and monitor radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols
• Operate Siemens imaging equipment and support departmental workflow
• Maintain safety standards for storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials
• Start and maintain IVs as needed for procedures
• Provide excellent patient care and clear communication throughout each exam
• Work collaboratively with radiology and transportation team members
• Deliver high-quality imaging support for whole body, bone, renal, liver, and ventilation/perfusion studies
