Role Overview

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs all nuclear medicine procedures and provides patient care to assist in diagnosis, ensuring the highest quality of care. This on-site, clinical professional role involves executing diagnostic imaging techniques, maintaining patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct nuclear medicine procedures following protocols and safety standards.
  • Provide compassionate patient care throughout procedures.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of imaging equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.
  • Assist in quality assurance and safety compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
  • Certification from ARRT/NMTCB or equivalent.
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
  • National Certified or Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in nuclear medicine.
